Understanding Fees
Complete guide to NinjaSwap's fee structure and pricing

Understanding the fee structure is essential for making informed decisions when using NinjaSwap. This guide explains all the fees associated with our cryptocurrency exchange service, how they're calculated, and ways to reduce your costs.

Fee Structure Overview

NinjaSwap's fee structure is designed to be transparent and competitive. Our fees fall into several categories:

Exchange Fee

The primary fee charged by NinjaSwap for facilitating the exchange between cryptocurrencies. This fee is already included in the exchange rate shown to you.

Typical Range: 0.5% - 1.5% of transaction value

Network Fee

Fees paid to cryptocurrency network miners/validators to process transactions on the blockchain. These vary by network congestion and are not controlled by NinjaSwap.

Varies by: Cryptocurrency, network congestion, transaction size

How Exchange Fees Are Calculated

Our exchange fees are calculated based on several factors:

1

Exchange Amount

Larger transactions typically receive preferential rates with lower percentage fees.

2

Currency Pair

Some cryptocurrency pairs have higher liquidity and thus lower fees, while rare or less liquid pairs may have higher fees.

3

Exchange Type

Fixed-rate exchanges typically have a slightly higher fee than floating-rate exchanges to account for price volatility risk.

4

User Tier

Regular users with verified accounts and higher trading volumes qualify for lower fees through our loyalty program.

Important

NinjaSwap always shows you the exact amount you will receive before you confirm an exchange. The rate displayed already includes our exchange fee, so there are no hidden charges.

Network (Blockchain) Fees

Network fees are separate from NinjaSwap's exchange fees and are paid to cryptocurrency miners/validators:

  • Deposit Fees: When sending cryptocurrency to NinjaSwap, you pay the network fee from your wallet.
  • Withdrawal Fees: When NinjaSwap sends the exchanged cryptocurrency to your receiving address, we pay the network fee.

Network fees vary significantly between different cryptocurrencies:

CryptocurrencyTypical Network FeeFee Variability
Bitcoin (BTC)$1-20High - varies with network congestion
Ethereum (ETH)$2-50Very high - gas prices fluctuate significantly
Litecoin (LTC)$0.05-0.30Low - relatively stable
Ripple (XRP)$0.0002-0.005Very low - extremely stable
Binance Coin (BNB)$0.10-1.00Low to medium - fairly stable
Solana (SOL)$0.0001-0.01Very low - extremely stable

Minimizing Network Fees

  • Consider exchanging during periods of lower network congestion (weekends, non-peak hours)
  • For non-urgent exchanges, currencies with lower and more stable network fees may be preferable
  • Consolidate multiple smaller exchanges into a single larger exchange when possible

  • Minimum Exchange Amount: Very small exchanges may be subject to minimum fees to cover operational costs.
  • Refund Fees: In case a refund is necessary, you may be charged the network fee for the refund transaction.
