Methods to monitor and track the status of your cryptocurrency exchange
Tracking your cryptocurrency exchange is important to ensure your transaction is proceeding as expected. NinjaSwap provides several methods to monitor your exchange, whether you have an account or not.
Method 1: Using Order ID and Email (No Account Required)
When you create an exchange on NinjaSwap, you'll receive an Order ID and the option to provide your email address for tracking purposes.
Locate your Order ID: This is displayed on the exchange confirmation page and sent to your email if you provided one.
Go to the Order Tracking page: Visit https://ninjaswap.fi/track or click on "Track Order" in the main navigation.
Enter your details: Input your Order ID and the email address you provided during the exchange creation.
View order status: You'll see the current status, transaction details, and progress of your exchange.
Email Notifications
If you provided an email address when creating your exchange, you'll automatically receive notifications at key stages:
Exchange creation confirmation
Payment detected
Exchange in progress
Outgoing transaction sent
Exchange completed
Method 2: With a NinjaSwap Account
If you have a NinjaSwap account, tracking your exchanges is even easier:
Log in to your account: Enter your username and password on the login page.
Navigate to "Order History": Click on your profile icon and select "Order History" from the dropdown menu.
View all exchanges: You'll see a list of all your exchanges, including current and past ones.
Click on an exchange: Select any exchange to view detailed information, including all transaction data and status updates.
Understanding Exchange Statuses
Throughout the exchange process, your order will have one of the following statuses:
Awaiting Payment
The order has been created, and NinjaSwap is waiting for you to send funds to the provided deposit address.
Confirming
Your payment has been detected on the blockchain and is waiting for the required number of confirmations.
Exchanging
Your payment has been confirmed, and the exchange process is in progress.
Sending
The exchange has been completed, and NinjaSwap is sending the funds to your receiving address.
Completed
The exchange has been successfully completed, and funds have been sent to your receiving address.
Failed
The exchange could not be completed. Check the details for the specific reason and next steps.
Important Note
Always save your Order ID and the transaction hash of your deposit transaction. These are essential for tracking your exchange and for customer support if you encounter any issues.
Tracking Using Blockchain Explorers
In addition to NinjaSwap's tracking tools, you can also monitor both the incoming and outgoing transactions on public blockchain explorers:
For your deposit transaction: Use the blockchain explorer for the cryptocurrency you're sending (e.g., blockchain.com for Bitcoin) and search for your transaction using the transaction hash.
For the receiving transaction: Once NinjaSwap processes your exchange and sends the funds, you can track this transaction using the blockchain explorer for the cryptocurrency you're receiving. The transaction hash will be provided in the order details.
